From April 27 to May 04, 2018, In the city Anapa, Vityazevo, Krasnodar Aew, was held the International Festival of Cheerleading and Cheer Sport “Bright! May! Yours! “- 2018.
The festival is organized by the South Russia Cheerleading Federation with the support of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, the Russian Cheerleading Federation, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Krasnodar Area and the Federation of Cheerleading of the Krasnodar Area.
The festival is held for the third year and in 2018 it has acquired an international scale. More than 3 thousand participants from 29 regions and 7 countries fought for the medals of the tournaments: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, China, South Korea, LNR, Kyrgyzstan.
The large international festival “Bright! May! Yours! “- 2018 absorbed several competitions in cheerleading and cheer sport: All-Russian competitions in cheerleading and cheer sport, international competitions among teams of general education organizations, International competitions among school club teams, Open Championship ” Bring it on the South of Russia ” International competitions among teams of student sports clubs and professional clubs “Cheer-dance show”; International “Stunt-festival”; competitions in the Special Olympics program and even International competitions among teams of fans and parents of cheerleaders.
In addition to the competitions and trainings for all participants, a diverse cultural and entertainment program awaited, which included bright opening and closing ceremonies, cheer-parties with the participation of Russian pop and theater actors, master classes from famous athletes and champions, creative meetings and contests, photo and autograph sessions with celebrities, seminars, round tables with specialists in the field of sports and much more.
— The festival is a powerful energy and motivation. We were full of emotion. We experienced absolutely everything. We supported, were happy and cheer a lot in support of our friends. Very nice when you go out to the competition carpet, and in the stands all – from children to adults – chant the name of our team. It is very charged and motivating. In our free time, we visited various master classes from honorary guests of the festival. We have where to grow and what to achieve. We also plan to open possibility to join the team in the nearest future, “said Vladimir Poroshin (TSTU, Tambov), coach of the Haski team.
Competitions in the international level are a colossal experience and strengthening of the team spirit: all the participants support each other during the championship. One team performs – the other 12-17 teams are sympathetic and follow the proceedings. And the guys train before the performance together. For cheerleading, the word “rival” rarely applies, – shared the coach of the team Hall Wolfs Jana Kozhakhmetova (Primorsky Krai).
In addition to medals, cups and diplomas, the organizers and partners of the International Festival “Bright! May! Your! ” special prizes for the winners were prepared – certificates for participation in the project” Be brighter – live in cheer! “, which will take place in the best camps in Russia:
— All-Russian children’s center “Smena” – village Sukko (city Anapa);
— All-Russian Children’s Center “Ocean” – Vladivostok, Primorsky Territory;
— International children’s center “Artek” – village Gurzuf, Crimean Republic.
The next stage of the project will begin very soon – this summer!
In addition, this year the participants of the International competitions among the teams of fans and parents of cheerleaders were waiting for a surprise: the winning team of parents “Drive Band” was invited to represent Russia at the International Festival on cheerleading and cheer sport, which will be held in South Korea from August 29 to September 4, 2018.
